Meet Shizu Tomo, Ume-san’s partner. An all-round, nice guy: a little sarcastic; a trifle blunt; but friendly and easygoing. Asexual, but not a jealous type. If Ume needs someone more sexual, he is all for it. At least until Ume brings home Shiomi-san, a basket case with a jealous ghost stalking her. Tomo recognizes a disaster when he sees it, but has no idea what to do about it.
